Jenna Kaye is the Founder and CEO of Odyssey Trust Company, a North American transfer agent and trust company based in Calgary, Vancouver, Toronto and Denver, CO. She is also the Co-Founder and Chair of Tetra Trust, Canada’s first regulated crypto custodian, a Co-Founder of Axis Connects, a Calgary-based non-profit committed to increasing diversity on boards and in the c-suite, and a Principal of Icebook Investments, a family run office that’s focused on early-stage businesses across a wide range of industries including renewable energy, real estate and fertility. Jenna has an MBA/LLB from Dalhousie University and practiced law at a national law firm.

Ms. Paulson has 27 years of experience in the financial services industry, including 23 years in the transfer agent industry. Most recently she served as Senior Vice President of Relationship Management at Equiniti Trust Company. She has a strong background in client relationship management, IPOs, complex corporate actions, American depositary receipts, and cross-border transactions. Ms. Paulson leads Odyssey Transfer’s growing U.S.-based team, ensuring a deep commitment to serving Odyssey Transfer’s clients and their shareholders.

Krista Lalonde has over 15 years’ experience in the transfer agent industry, holding key roles across a variety of departments. She is widely respected for her operational expertise, industry knowledge and leadership skills, as well as her commitment to innovation and process improvement. Prior to joining Odyssey, Krista worked with Wealthsimple and Computershare

Mr. Szela is an accomplished growth leader with nearly 15 years of experience driving business expansion, revenue growth, and market innovation. He has a proven track record of scaling businesses through strategic partnerships and operational excellence in the B2B technology sector, serving law firms, financial institutions, and governments. Prior to joining Odyssey, Mr. Szela served as both Vice President of Sales and Vice President of Operations at Dye & Durham, where he helped grow the business from $10M in annual revenue to $500M, transforming it into a global enterprise valued at more than $3.5B through sales leadership and the integration of major acquisitions from TELUS, OMERS, and Thomson Reuters. At Odyssey, Mr. Szela is responsible for leading market expansion, fostering innovation, and delivering client-focused solutions that drive growth and reinforce the company’s position as a market leader in the transfer agent and corporate trust space.

Amy Penner is a Human Resources Professional with over 18 years of experience. Prior to Odyssey, she worked for over 11 years at a global insurance company. She is skilled in Employee Engagement, Coaching, HR Policies, Succession Planning, Recruitment, and Human Resources Information Systems. Amy has a Bachelor of Commerce from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary and holds a Chartered Professional in Human Resources designation.

Chris Hofmann is a seasoned risk professional with more than 12 years of experience in the financial services industry. He has built his career across both traditional financial institutions as well as providing consulting services, where he has led initiatives in regulatory compliance, data risk, and enterprise risk management. Chris has also served as a relationship manager in one of Canada’s Big 5 banks giving him first-hand corporate banking experience, where he developed a deep understanding of market, liquidity, and credit risk management practices that balance prudence with business growth. Chris holds an Honours Bachelor of Science and a Master of Business Administration. His background positions him as a trusted leader who combines technical expertise with a pragmatic approach to risk management.

Ms. Van Valin is a principal member that leads the U.S. sales expansion for Odyssey Transfer. Her core focus is to profitably grow market share for Odyssey Transfer’s transfer agent and trust business by partnering with executive management teams at domestic and multinational corporations to deliver shareowner service solutions that serve the needs of clients and their investors. Ms. Van Valin has more than 12 years of experience working in the transfer agent and trust space, focusing on complex corporate action events, Mergers and Acquisitions, and IPOs.
